In a momentous occasion, the dedicated team at Terracrua Design, represented by Nuno Mamede Santos and Miguel Clemente, had the honor of personally delivering the Quinta da Pesqueira project in Tomar. This project embodies a comprehensive plan for intervention, with a central focus on strategies for resilience, ecological integration, and fostering social and economic development.
The team met with Miguel, Catarina, Elisabete, and Paulo to present the final maps, estimations, and the project timeline.
They also used this opportunity to walk through the property, explaining the functionality of the tablet GPS and providing on-site guidance.

The Vision:
The vision for the Quinta da Pesqueira project is to craft a comprehensive plan that addresses various facets of the estate. This encompasses strategies for resilience, ecological integration, and the promotion of social and economic development, all with the ultimate aim of nurturing permanence and abundance, including the creation of a structural framework for a distinctive rural hotel development.
Planning Objectives:
In our general planning objectives, our focus is on enhancing landscape hydration through improved rainwater infiltration and water retention. We also prioritize the enhancement of access and infrastructure, the restoration of ecological patterns and services, the regeneration of ecosystems and soils, and the creation of integrated productive zones. Structured maintenance activities and the creation and protection of wetland areas are integral parts of our plan, along with the protection, diversification, and expansion of existing forests, all aimed at promoting biodiversity.
The specific planning objectives include the creation of a comprehensive water framework, featuring dams, ponds, canals, and roads. Additionally, we will establish an access/road framework to improve mobility and connectivity. The development of a structural vegetation framework will guide green area planning, while specific zoning will designate productive areas to maximize land utilization.
The delivery of the Quinta da Pesqueira project marks a significant milestone in the journey towards agro-regenerative excellence.
