During the winter months, it’s common to feel a sense of seclusion, stoppage, and slowness. These breaks are often necessary to rethink, structure, and rest.
However, the Terracrua Design team did not take a vacation and remained warm and dynamic as ever.
We started the cold season with a trip to Angola, where we delivered the planning of 10,000 hectares of Fazenda Girassol and quickly saw the design come off the paper and be implemented on the ground.
It’s incredible to focus attention on the land, understand where each element should be placed, and dedicate ourselves to design and think for the Future, but still It’s a great satisfaction to see everything that was thought and structured take shape beyond the drawing.
When access roads are built, everything makes more sense!
Angola has opened the door to new growth opportunities with brilliant partnerships. Among the new projects that are emerging and that put us with one foot here and another there, we officially announced the birth of Terracrua Design Angola with new partnerships that allow us to offer even more complete and professional services. This has allowed us to grow our team with people of fantastic knowledge who enable us to do more and better, finding new challenges and also increasing the area of activity where we transform what exists into what we know is correct.
Speaking of implementing for the future, and because not everything is tropical, it was also time for Plantamisto!
Terracrua Design completed another season of the nursery, where bare-root trees and other plants were sent to various points of the country to become part of the most varied projects.
It was with great pleasure that we packed and sent hundreds of trees to be planted all over Portugal, from communities to personal lands, from long hedges to isolated trees.
We know they are strong, healthy, and leafy and we still have hundreds more growing visibly, preparing for a promising autumn!
We also took advantage of the new facilities of Terracrua Design in Relíquias to work on several design projects that were in progress.
We delivered most of the projects on GPS tablet support and many have already been implemented.
During this winter, we delivered 3 more masterplans. We would like to highlight a particular project, but we can’t. All projects are an integral part of our curriculum, each with its own specificities, its details that bring us new learning, and obstacles that lead us to seek better solutions.
The same applies to the technical visits we made, from the Algarve to Tomar, and to the new designs that we started cooking up this rainy season. There are lands that become almost obvious when analyzing their topographic survey, and there are lands that bring us all together to find answers…
The greater the challenge, the more motivated this team becomes!
To close out the winter season and set the tone for the rebirth of spring and these warm days that re-emerge, the new Terracrua Design website is now live and available to the world!
Always looking to the future, but with deep roots, the original creator (and longtime friend) of the Terracrua Design image revisited the website and redesigned our logo. We challenge you to spot the differences!
