And the week ends on a high note with the delivery of the PEAR (Agro-Regenerative Structural Project) for the rural hotel Cucumbi in the Montemor-O-Novo area!
This is a farm that was already in operation before the planning process with us, and its main activities are the production of breeding chickens and eggs (Portuguese autochthonous breeds), Merino sheep, the hotel, and farm-to-table restaurant.
The Terracrua Design team approached the landscape and the client’s objectives, and created a masterplan with the necessary structure to frame present and future activities in the landscape and its needs for ecosystem balance.
As usual, the P.E.A.R. is delivered in the form of technical maps in geopack format, supporting maps/PDFs, a large infographic panel, budgets, and an implementation schedule.
The geopackage contains the full mainframe map, and it was delivered in one of our Full GPS Tablet.
While the design process was underway, and after phase 2 of the project, some water-related implementations were carried out coordinated by the team, such as the construction of more than a dozen interconnected bossa ponds along ridge roads.
Here are some images, and our thanks to the family, Catarina, Tozé, António, João, Helena, and the entire Cucumbi team. It was a pleasant and productive joint process!
